    Hi there,

We are in the process of upgrading our hosting package to a dedicated one and our ISP has moved all our installs, dbases etc for us. All we have to do is change the references in install files that point to the old dbases and update the EE preferences. Where do I update the reference to dbase? What install file does this live in?

    Thanks in advance
    s.,

The database name, location, login ID and password are in the config.php file which is in the site’s /system (may have been renamed) directory. Also, if you’re changing servers, paths may change also. I recommend Deeploy Helper to set up paths on the new server.

Take a look at this article. You are looking for config.php.
