    Hi there,

To have a site-wide look-and-feel, I also want the member profile theme, located @/themes/profile_themes/profile_theme.php, to integrate into my design.

My design has a member_group-based masthead, so several icons will/will not appear. (The masthead is global..)
The masthead is inside a separate template (includes/masthead) and I want this template to embed/include on my member template, so I just need to edit the includes/masthead for any changes.

Is there any way to directly include templates into profile_theme.php, or do I have to rewrite the content from those templates and have to use the $SESS variable?

    Thanks for your help!

    Toby:

The member templates do not run through the robust template parser that the regular templates do.  So you will not have access to the {embed} tag.  I would investigate using $SESS to build it.

Actually toby, my apologies, the Member templates don’t parse PHP either, so you’re going to need to come at it from a slightly different, more ‘global’ angle, as far as your design goes.  Sorry for my mix up 😊

I normally use Solspace’s User Module for this.

Thanks for your tip! This module seems to be pretty flexible and really good!
But I see no “edit”-feature within this module? Or does this module provide more than just those “Get-ters”? ‘Cause I also need the “Set-ters” 😉
