Hi, I need that my commenters accept some conditions through a checkbox before submiting a comment. The checkbox status should be unchecked by default but I would like they check it only once. After accepting it, EE should remember that they already have accepted it and the checkbok should be checked by default on further submissions.

    Any suggestion?

    Thanks

Can’t EE remember the content of any additional form field on a comments form?

I think your best bet would be to use some Javascript, or even easier only allow registered members’ comments, and show them the conditions when they sign up.

Do you know where can I find the sign up template?

You can find the text for the Terms and Conditions in the following template

CP Home ›  Admin ›  Members and Groups ›  Member Profile Templates ›  Default ›  Registration Form

Is not posible to add a checkbox or a radio button on custom profile fields?

Not by default, no. There’s a hack in the wiki, but I haven’t tried and do not recommend this approach. Here’s a thread on the forums about it.

Actually I see that the signup form has a “terms and conditions” checkbox but there’s no link to read them before accepting.

    <input type='checkbox' name='accept_terms' value='y' />  <span class="alert">{lang:terms_accepted}</span>
