Hello!

I am probably missing something suuuuper simple, and I’m sorry that I can’t seem to find the answer on the Wiki, Forums, Knowledge Base, or Google.

I have 3 weblogs. When I set up the first one I added 2 categories and don’t remember how. So the other two don’t have categories and I would like them to. ... How do I add categories?

To add new categories and category groups, go to…

Admin -> Weblog Administration -> Category Management

Once you’ve set up your new category groups, you’ll need to assign them to their respective weblogs. Go to…

Admin -> Weblog Administration -> Weblog Management

Then, click on “Edit Groups” to assign the right category group to each of your other weblogs.

Thanks so much! I was looking under Publish > Edit Weblogs ... which completely bypasses the Admin area

FWIW, you can also add/remove categories that are assigned to an individual weblog when you are adding/editing an entry to that weblog. However, a category group has to be first assigned to the weblog in question.
