Hi All. I have been working to learn EE these last 2 months, and I am truly amazed at its flexibility, but I wish there was a way to see what EE users/developers are located in different parts of the US and world. Being in central NC, I would enjoy having lunch and chatting over templates, blogs, and expression tags. GOD I am such a Geek!

And now for something completely different - I just discovered The Big Bang Theory (sitcom on CBS ) - funny geek-focused comedy. Recommend it highly!

Would be an interesting idea for a site or a section of an EE centered site. EE developers with geo location in profile and contact info. Kind of like the professionals network, but with a little extra juice and pizazz

The Pro Network is filterable by location, that is one way to find developers near you.

I feel kind of lonely… there isn’t anyone else in Calgary.

I own http://www.group-ees.com—and would gladly donate it to a site that aggregates developers, get-togethers, etc.

Michael, that is an awesome domain for that purpose. If anyone wants to work on this, I would be more than happy to roll up my sleeves and chip in. Especially since I’ve been organizing a EE meet-up here in Toronto.

Anyone else interested in collaborating on something like this?
