    Hello,

We’re thinking about using EE (for the first time) to implement a site, which will allow the users to purchase tickets for events and reserve e.g. accommodation for a certain period of time.

Is there any extension for EE existing, that would allow us to implement these features easily? Can it be even done without writing the eCommerce part entirely from scratch?
Any other comments on this subject?

    Thanks in advance,

Hi trice and welcome to the EE forums,

We have several people using the FoxEE module to sell event tickets. FoxEE acts as a bridge between ExpressionEngine and FoxyCart and allows you to sell and track different types of products, including downloads, shippable and subscription based.

    Thanks for the fast reply!
This looks like good possibility, unfortunately we can’t use a hosted service like Foxyfor the shop in our case, though
    Any other ideas?

trice22, if you just need to sell tickets, you could use Simple Commerce.  It depends on your needs and what payment gateway you want to use. Another option is to use aMember to bridge to your favorite shopping cart.
