    Hiya,

Sorry for the post like this but I’m completely tearing my hair out due to Flickr now!

I signed up for an account (Yahoo / Flickr) about two hours ago and now in all that time I have been trying to log-in / confirm my account. It is driving me up the wall as at one point it will say “e-mail already confirmed why don’t you go to your homepage or upload some images” but as soon as I try to do anything or go anywhere it says that I need to confirm my account by clicking on the link in an e-mail that they have sent me. I have now clicked on 8 of these e-mails and I’m beginning to give in now!!

Anyone ever signed up for Flick and had this problem before, just wondering what I can do really?

    Thanks.

    Best wishes,

    Mark

Oops meant to mention that I can’t even get it to sign out so that I can get to their help pages, wherever they are, so I can’t even get a contact to be able to ask them about this!! :-(

Mark, have you tried flushing your browser’s cache and deleting any Flickr cookies?

Yep and logged out of Yahoo and it just will not log me out of Flickr! I can’t even get to their help pages because whenever I click on them it says I need to authenticate first!! Agggggghhhhh!!! This has given me a migraine now. I just wanted to upload some images, something I thought was going to be easy and it’s turned into a complete nightmare!!

Anyone know an e-mail address for Flickr contact at all as I can’t even get to that page it just tells me again that I need to authenticate!!

    Best wishes,

    Mark

    Finally!!!

I don’t know what happened but just got another activation e-mail from Flickr although I never asked for this one and clicked the link, same thing happened it said I was authenticated. This time though it actually let me in! Finally!!!

Thanks e-man for the look in though.

Sheesh the hoops you have to clamber through nowadays for what should really be a simple process!!

    Best wishes,

    Mark

Yep me too or I think my brain would have exploded.

I’ve just gone and paid for a year of Flickr too so after all the problems I had I still signed up.

I dunno they certainly did some clever mind warping on me to get me to sign up 😊 Usually I would have walked away with all the problems I had today but oh no I still go and sign up. I need to find out whatever they are sending out over the web so that I can make people pay me for things that don’t work right away but you will still want anyway 😉
