Hi all,
We currently have our websites in a Windows environment with one web server and one database server. Both are Windows 2003 Servers and databases are in MS SQL Server 2005.
Could EE be installed using this setup or would a seperate Linux server be recommended?

EE can be installed in a Windows server environment, but you would definitely need MySQL as the database. No other databases are currently supported. That said, if you do get the choice you’ll probably do yourself a favor in the long run by opting for a UNIX based environment. (Much of that is my personal opinion, however—you definitely can run EE on Windows.)
