Yet another post regarding issues with EE on IIS. I moved the site from my own linux server (where the speed was fine) over to the client’s Windows server…and both the CP and live site run much much slower now. I’ve followed all the steps on this page: http://expressionengine.com/wiki/Optimize_EE/, and tried to optimize as best I can on the front end. I’ve searched through the forum and unfortunately haven’t found any one answer that solves the problem. Also, I have confirmed that FastCGI is running on the server.

Any ideas on things to check, switch, fix, turn on or off in the server to help speed things up?

Mod Edit: Moved to the How To Forum

Per this post, I ended up asking the hosting company to switch from CGI to ISAPI…which ended up cutting down the load time of certain pages almost in half.
