Has anybody come up with a custom date variable that displays the date like so: April 14, 2009.
Using this standard date variable ({entry_date format="%Y %m %d"})is fine for numbers only, but I am guessing that given EE’s blogging heritage, there’s also a way to display months or days as words.

You have the full PHP date formatting options at your disposal…
