All user accounts can’t post in forums.

I didn’t change anything, for sure, just had dinner…

Only the admin account can post.
All user accounts, members, team mates, everyone gets the error message and the post is not posted.

It’s the same in public and in internal forums.

So, I checked the server logs, nothing unusual.
The guest count is normal.

I don’t know about server updates of my hoster.

So, I updated now to the latest EE and forums release.

No improvement.

A team mate described the problem as following:

“I had this error message sometimes before, but it solved itself after 4 to 5 minutes.
Now it appeared again. Temporary I could post. Then it didn’t work til now…
The last time it was about 2 weeks ago. 3-4 times in the last to months.”

The error is now about 2 1/2 hours.

Ping is normal.

Don’t know what to do now? Please help.

Did just cache clearing of EE and testposting with different people.

In the moment I can post with IE8 and not with Firefox3.0.8. But it’s the same user.
I cleared firefox cache, closed firefox, opened it again and doesn’t work again.

Another Tester couldn’t post for the 2 hours with IE8, but now suddenly works for her with IE8, and for testing, it works at her with Firefox3.0.8.

Another Test couldn’t post with 3.0.1, but now suddenly he can!

But I can’t.

I know this really sounds crazy :/

And I am posting at EE Boards, with Firefox.

I removed now all Plugins of Firefox. And it works.
Installed all three one after another. And it works.

Very mysterious…

Mysterious indeed, however I’m glad you ogot it working.  Please don’t hesitate to start a new thread should anything else come up!
