Be nice if CI had something like this from the devs on how to setup CI in a IDE

Yes that is really interesting 😊

There is currently no text in this page, you can search for this page title in other pages or edit this page

I think with all the variables like IDEs/editors, server packages, php versions, OS versions it’s going to be difficult to find the setup you like/get working. Not taking into account developers setups that are rigged for multiple frameworks/CMSs.

looks like EE is inexplicably stripping out exclamation marks from URLS.

This seems to be a mix of general XAMPP setup tutorials which can be found on their site, a basic Eclipse setup guide and some of the developers personal suggestions.

CI does not have this as it does not need it. It has no requirements or complicated features that need PHP.ini being messed with.

If you want to know how to set up a CI project in Eclipse, just Google “Setting up a PHP project in Eclipse” and point it to your CI application.

The only posts / tuts i’ve read include a serious amount of mangling to get the IDE to see all (for autocompletion) the classes and methods.
