Hi all,

I have two performance related issues:

1) When I’m saving a blog post or a template, it can load for ages without displaying a confirmation that the page is saved. Often though, it turns out to be saved and sometimes in multiple copies because I have hit “save” several times to get it to react.

2) When I save a blog post, it is not uncommon that the date displayed in the post are “1 year and 1 week ago” or something similar. If I edit the post and edit the submission time to ten minutes earlier or so, it displays that time.

What to do?

Ayza, is there a pattern to the timing of the errors, or something you can point to? Is the front end of the site also having slowdown issues?

Which version and build of ExpressionEngine are you using? You can find that out at the bottom on any control panel page.

Are you saving your templates as files?
