This is the first EE implementation. We are extremely impressed with ease of installation and the flexibility of EE. We are excited about the potential of our CMS implementation for our client. We would appreciate any feedback and suggestions on this access structure using EE’s member group capabilities before we start the actual implementation.
Management Group – should have access to all regional managers, district managers, managers, trainers, members
The Management Group will have a web page with a Blog, News and Calendar to name a few for all regional managers.
Regional Area Managers Group – regional area manager should have access to their district managers, mangers, trainers, members only.
Each Regional Area Manager will have a web page with a Blog, News and Calendar to name a few only for the district managers they are supervising.
District Area Managers Group – district managers should have access to their managers, trainers, members only
Each District Manager will have a web page with a Blog, News and Calendar to name a few only for the managers they are supervising.
Managers Group – managers should have access to their trainers, members only
Each Manager will have a web page with a Blog, News and Calendar to name a few only for the trainers they are supervising.
Trainers Group – should have access to their members only
Each Trainer will have a web page with a Blog, News and Calendar to name a few for only the members they are training.
Members should have access to their trainers’ Blog, News and Calendar to name a few.
How would you use categories to facilitate this access structure?
If our client hired and / or promoted a new person for any of the above positions can we automate the setup of that person’s access by using any of the capabilities in EE.
