One thing I noticed about Barack Obama’s presidency is that the White House web site is XHTML compliant (not all the CSS validates, though).

Not only that, but the White House site is loaded with jQuery goodies; jcarousel, plugins, thickbox, swfobject, and more. Anybody know what CMS is being used?

    It’s a new day…

The change.gov site was running EE; does the new whitehouse.gov use EE too?

The search results string doesn’t look like EE’s.

We’re fairly certain that Whitehouse.gov is not on EE. If it is, its modified quite substantially, running on a Window’s server, and uses some ASP integration. Blue State Digital, which did Change.gov, is not responsible for whitehouse.gov.

Further to what Leslie said, I was just on the main page of the site, and moused over the main image, and it had a hyperlink using this link:  http://www.whitehouse.gov/default.aspx#

Hmmm, that’s a disappointment. But Obama told us he can change, isn’t it 😉

Seems every site associated with Obama has used a different platform, or several in conjunction.
