I have followed the various EE spin-off’s from many of the contributors of the ExpressionEngine forums, such as Train-ee.com and Pragprog.com, but before I followed any of the these EE-related sites, I followed Jambor-ee.com.

Does anyone know what happened to Jambor-ee.com?

Other projects on the go?

Any details what-so-ever?

Are the developers still active on the ExpressioneEngine forums?

Finally, do any of you know if there is a relaunch in the works?

The domain is currently registered to Massive Media Ltd. in Bradford, United Kingdom, and their site right now appears to be an ad-farm. The Jambor-ee.com site currently shows nothing.

Any input on this would be excellent! Jambor-ee.com‘s series were amazing and I know I’d like to see it back on the World Wide Web!

I’m pretty sure that this was just down to lots of client work coming in and taking things over no legal matters or anything like that.

Would be nice to see that series finished yes.

Haha, I’ve heard the “legal woes” rumour a few times before.  I’m not sure what it’s referring to but it definitely wasn’t the case.

I’m the guy behind Jambor-ee.  It died simply because I was too busy at the time as Mark said.  I tried and failed a couple of times to relaunch it.  It’s all a bit embarrassing really.

But yeah, it is definitely relaunching soon in a simplified form along with yet another EE site you might be interested in.  If you’re on twitter you might want to follow http://twitter.com/twiee

You shouldn’t feel embarrassed at all. You were providing a great tutorial for free so that was really kind of you. Paid work has to come first and anyone who has posted in the past moaning should move up and do something like that themselves and see just how much work is involved. Especially when you weren’t receiving a penny for it!

Would have been nice if the site could have stayed online so people could still get the existing contents but I can totally understand a reason behind that.
