I wrangled a Mac on day one from a computer store in Philadelphia. Still have it, though the display died 15 years ago. Someday soon, I should try to get it repaired.

That was then, this is now.

25 years after the first Mac, Apple introduces the MacBook Wheel.

I would absolutely love to get my hands on a pristine condition Mac Classic they are truly gorgeous. They just seem like actual people to me. I think it comes from the graphic that had the face on it and then you see a Classic in the flesh and they look that way.

Darned cute I love ‘em to bits 😊

Ah I remember those with the 1MB RAM and the mouse that looks like a block of marzipan!!! 😉

Are you sure you couldn’t be tempted to sell? I’ll give it a good home, I promise 😊

I am sure it would you would look after it extremely well - but sorry!

I did visit an agency in London years ago with a load of classics around the wall in reception - they were being used for staff to pick up email quickly - brilliant use of replaced tech.

I remember someone did a comparison some time back and the Classic was actually much faster than say a 9600 for things such as simple word processing.

It’s all the stupid added functions to programmes that you don’t really need that slowed the other machine(s) down 😉
