    Hey Community,

I put together a very simple twitter timeline plugin. No bells and wistles, it just pulls posts for a given username… Anyways, Thought I’d share in case someone wanted to use it.

Just drop the ‘tweetline’ directory in your third_party folder and you should be good to go.

You can grab the plugin here:

I have added community support through getsatisfaction.com. Please post questions & comments there.

    Thanks,

Thanks David, this stripped down version works great. Question, I am trying to nest this plugin inside a exp:channel:entries so I can have the username as a variable. However, the {title} conflicts with the entry title. Can I easily go in the code and rename your {title} to something different?

Or will it even work properly if it is nested in another entry?

    Thanks.

There shouldn’t be a conflict. I am using it in a nested entries tag in my implementation as well.

    Thanks,
    David

In my case the {title} in your plugin is grabbing the {title} from the Channel Entry. So it looks like:

    Title 1
    Jul 23, 2010 2:50pm

    Title 1
    Jul 23, 2010 2:48pm

    Title 1
    Jul 22, 2010 2:12pm

You’re correct. I uploaded a new version with a tag called ‘post’ that will replace the ‘title’ tag. The title tag has been depreciated. Just replace your current plugin with one from the link above.

    Thanks,
    David

David - Thanks for putting this together!  It’s great.  As Lisa just mentioned, do you have a support area for this?
