I’ve noticed that when you choose to not show a field’s formatting menu that the ‘Formatting’ option disappears (as you’d expect), but the options for ‘Image’, ‘Check Spelling’, ‘Glossary’ and ‘Smileys’ remain. This is different to how that worked in EE1.
Also, the ‘Glossary’ and ‘Check Spelling’ options do not work for a Textarea if the ‘Formatting’ menu is hidden, and if there is a Text Input field and a Textarea field, clicking the ‘Glossary’ options for the Text Input will make them appear in the Textarea. This happens whether their respective ‘Formatting’ menus are set to be shown or not.
