Pending comments not showing in CMS

Version: 3.5.3 Reporter: IC360 (Oliver Cannell)

I am receiving notification emails for Guests comments, but they are not shown in the Comments column (per Entry). The number says “(0)” and I can’t Approve/Remove them. If I then submit a comment as Super Admin, the number of comments shows as “(1)” and I can then view/approve/remove all other comments. As I’m running a Blog, this is a critical issue.

  • The comment count only shows approved comments. You can access the pending state comments from the home page of the CP or by directly accessing /cp/publish/comments&filter_by_status=p

    But, I will add this as a feature request to reveal pending comments more obviously tied to an entry in the listing.

  • Hmmm, yeah that would be a useful feature - please add to the list. Additionally it would be really useful to be able to edit/view/add/remove comments from within the Edit Entry screen.
