We just upgraded a site to 2.11.6. It has a native Date 1.0 field on a channel that generates invalid dates.
I get a validation error “The date you submitted is not valid.”
The entry gets published as expected.
So, it seems the calendar picker is generating two digit years but the form validation is expecting four digit years.
ExpressionEngine implements Markdown Extra and BBCode. Please see the Markdown Extra docs and the BBCode Wikipedia article for a full reference.
