For instance, I create a custom field as a text field and save. If I come back to try to change it to a date field, “Date” is not in the list of field type options.
If I initially create the custom field as a “select” field and try to change it later, I’m only given the 4 field types related to selections.
If I create the field initially as a “date” field and try to change it to something else later, there are no other field type options shown at all.
The only solution at this point is to delete the custom field and then create a new one.
