I happened to have a Channel Grid field and a Low Variables Grid variable of the same ID, and when I tried outputting them both in the same template (or the field in the template and the variable in the layout), I got a series of database errors because it was looking for the variable’s DB columns in the field’s DB table. I can’t copy them exactly now because I’ve fixed the issue and moved on. I suspect it’s related to this bug, however: https://support.ellislab.com/bugs/detail/21661/deleting-a-channel-grid-field-also-deletes-the-lv-grid-variable-of-the-same
