If you set access to a template, based on member group, by means of the pane on the template view page, and use HTTP Authentication, if the person visiting the page is a registered member, they can log in, and view the page, even if they’re not allowed to.
It’s as if the settings specified are ignored, so as long as they have a username and password to enter into the prompt.
However, if HTTP Auth. is not used, the settings are correctly used.
