When creating a new Channel, the top two fields in the form are for “Full Channel Name” and “Channel Name.” When creating a new Custom Field, the top two fields in the form are “Field Label” and “Field Name.” I would suggesting using the Field style for the Channel. In other words, replace “Full Channel Name” with “Channel Label.”
I know it’s a nitpick, but wanted to throw it out there.
