When I save CSS and JS as files and edit them locally, it creates several copies of the same file over and over again. This happens even when I have “save template revisions†disabled.
To create this error, I:
Created a javascript file called “test†and it worked correctly when I used this in the head of my index.html file:
https://expressionengine.com/templategroup/test
However, when I did this:
https://expressionengine.com/templategroup/test.js
It makes two more copies of the javascript file in my template group.
Only when the index.html page is refreshed, will it create two more copies in my template group. When I don’t refresh it, it just has the original two copies. Every refresh creates two new copies.
ExpressionEngine implements Markdown Extra and BBCode. Please see the Markdown Extra docs and the BBCode Wikipedia article for a full reference.
