This is an archived bug report. If you are experiencing a similar issue, upgrade to the latest release and if that does not solve the problem, submit a new bug report
Admin -> Channel Administration -> Custom Fields -> Add/Edit Custom Fields -> Default Text Formatting for This Field change form XHTML to none and then following error-messages apperas:
“A Database Error Occurred
Error Number: 1054
Unknown column ‘0’ in ‘field list’
UPDATE `exp_channel_data` SET `0` = ‘field_ft_8’, `1` = ‘none’”
Seems to be a problem with newest build.
