The german language pack as downloadable from http://expressionengine.com/public_beta/downloads/ does not work with 2.0 because a few files are missing.
ExpressionEngine implements Markdown Extra and BBCode. Please see the Markdown Extra docs and the BBCode Wikipedia article for a full reference.
