On this page:http://expressionengine.com/public_beta/docs/installation/update_build.html you spoke of Expression Engine Core version that doesn’t exist with EE2.
At the end of the explanations, it would be a good idea to say that some permissions could need to be configured again (/system/expressionengine/config/config.php, /system/expressionengine/config/database.php and /system/expressionengine/cache/ to 777).
