I am making a simple contact form.

I have 3 hidden fields, name, subject, from. THey all work.

I am now trying to add my own fields such as “Age”

Am I required to use ..

    <input type=“text” id=“age” name=“message[]” size=“40” /></code></pre></p> <p>Or can I just use the normal ...</p> <pre><code><input type="text" id="age" name="age" size="40" />

Also, if I want the email to say..

Age: 25,  how can I insert that into the email with EE, or can I?

    Thank you

You’ll need the message[] - see the docs for an explanation.

The incoming email should be labeled, but if you wanted to change how it will appear, you might be better off exploring FreeForm from solspace.com. =)
