addon-tags are still present, rendered but the addon is no longer active/deleted

My client used navee for some time. The addon is no longer maintained, but works more or less on 7.x, however, it was time to remove it. All templates are updated, there is no navee tag left in the project, but I still get the following error.
Error The following tag has a syntax error: {exp:navee:custom_crumbs} Please check that the ‘navee’ add-on is installed.
Tempaltes have been updated several times, but not renamed, caches invalidated. Looks like wrong (navee) db table … how do I fix this? Thanks!
For starters, I’d recommend taking a peek at debug template tags utility. Quick walk through of it on that video… Just to confirm it’s not in use in your templates somewhere.
