Is there a variable modifier I can use to strip html?

I can’t seem to find it in the docs. Specifically, I’m looking to use it on my search results {excerpt} tag.

Update: Looks like both :limit and :attr_safe are capable of doing the job.

:limit has the added benefit of being able to also limit the number of characters and append anything you want to end of your string.

For Reference:

  • :attr_safe

  • :limit
