Storage implications of enabling entry versioning

What are the storage implications of enabling Entry Versioning? We currently have roughly 5000 pages in our site and want to enable Entry Versioning allowing 5 versions per entry. Anybody know what that might do to our database? Will it increase the entry tables 5 fold?

It will increase size. How much depends on how the software is doing it which to be honest I don’t know.
Is is storing a full copy of the template on each version or just changes?
It should not hard to find this out if you look the database or tables directly.
