This is a strange issue, I can’t get the channel entries tag to sort by category. I only want entries that are in this category to display.
When you remove the category=”13” it produces results but if it’s there it will not.
{exp:channel:entries channel="people" category="13" limit="10" paginate="bottom"}
<div class="person">
{exp:ce_img:single src="myurl.com/images/member_photos/{photo_filename}" max="125" }
<h2><a href="http://{path=people/detail}/{member_id}/{url_title}">{title}</a></h2>
{person_excerpt}
<br class="clear_both" >
</div>
{paginate}
<div id="pagination">
{pagination_links}
</div>
{/paginate}
{/exp:channel:entries}
Many thanks for you help!
Hi Michael and thanks for your gracious reply.
I’ve tried dynamic URL’s with dynamic=on and off, still no luck.
I took out all of the embed information and have it pared down to a barebones HTML template and it still will not work.
I forgot to mention that I’m using 2.9.2.
When comparing the template with another site of ours that is running on 2.7.3 it should be running perfectly.
The issue seems to be a bug in EE, I’ve tried to fix everything else and haven’t had any luck.
Thanks again!
Here’s a look at the pared down template (I took out the domain):
<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>
<div id="people">
{exp:channel:entries channel="People" limit="5" sort="desc" category="15"}
<div class="person">
{exp:ce_img:single src="XXX/images/member_photos/{photo_filename}" max="125" }
<h2>{title}</h2>
{person_excerpt}
<br class="clear_both" >
</div>
{/exp:channel:entries}
</div>
</body>
</html>
