I have just setup a new MAMP testing environment. I have copied my live site to it and the control panel is fine but the front end is just rendering the homepage for all pages. I have tried very hard to find out what is up but can’t see what is wrong. I don’t think that is is .htaccess and mod_rewrite because when I move the .htaccess and use index.php in the URL I get the same result. Can anyone give me any idea how I should trouble shoot this? Have you checked that index.php is included in site settings?

Thanks Rob, I have tried with and without index.php in the General Config page. I have tried with and without forced query strings and with index.php and index.php? in the URL. I have tried removing .htaccess altogether. Still all page render as the homepage. I am pulling my hair out. Ideas?

Suggest installing a fresh copy of EE in MAMP to see if that works. If not it could be MAMP related, or at least offer some clues…
