I see this problem has popped up before, but I have not been successful in fixing it. I upgraded to 2.6.1 and now when I try to add a new channel field or create a new set of fields for a new channel I get this error -
Unable to load requested field type file: ft.rel.php.
Confirm the fieldtype file is located in the expressionengine/third_party/ directory
indeed, I checked the server and that file is not in there. . I have ftp.rl.php in the fieldtypes folder….
I checked the the dB in exp_fieldtypes and there is no entry for it there either. how do I best fix this so I can go back to work as usual?
any help will be greatly appreciated
