Moved an EE site for a client over to their new hosting provider.

I followed the steps at the following url:
    http://ellislab.com/expressionengine/user-guide/operations/moving.html

    ————————-

    I get the following error:

    A Database Error Occurred

Unable to connect to your database server using the provided settings.

    Filename: D:\Hosting\10994054\html\system\codeigniter\system\database\DB_driver.php

    Line Number: 124

    ————————-

Any ideas on what the culprit could be?

godaddy doesn’t like “localhost” and once I switched to their provided hostname it worked, but now the paths to stylesheets etc. are off. In the step 10 it says I can update the paths in the config.php, where can I locate that file?

Had godaddy switch from Windows to Linux environment so that I could change the permissions via FTP.
