Need help build a simple Subscription system with Stripe

I have a client that wants a basic subscription system setup using Stripe as the gateway. We really only need a few options for interval, trials and coupon codes that offer a fixed rate or percentage discount. We have tried using Membrr, but we use another system for our Store that does not offer subscriptions. This would make it a two login system for any buyer looking for both products. Does anyone have any advice on a system that would integrate with EE for subscriptions, but would not require a separate member group? Can we just build a basic subscription system with Stripe and somehow capture order details in EE?
