Strange error with Seed while upgrading and fix

Just had a strange error when upgrading EE from v2.5.5 to v2.6

The update would not complete but kept throwing:

“Unable to load the requested class: seed_model”

As I was unable to access the CP to uninstall the module I simply renamed the seed folder in system/expressionengine/third_party to something else and the update went through fine. Then I changed it back to the original name.

Just thought I would mention it in case someone else had the same issue.
