I have only the EE default member module running - and am using the default member template. However I cannot log in to the front end member login as a customer, or as a super admin, without getting this error:

“you are not authorised to perform this action.” But if you navigate to the site again, you are actually logged in.

I am running multisite manager, and the url shown on the error page is not the site I want to log into.

I have tried: re-adding/ deleting and creating new members, but nothing appears to be working. I have uninstalled and re-installed the member module, but this has not fixed it either.

I have checked my paths in my index and admin phps for site manager and everything I can think of but not sure what to do next…

I have removed “Freemember” and “user” and am do all this testing using the default EE member templates and it is still not working.

I have refreshed my browser, cleared the cookies etc. I have even tried from a different IP address. I am not using Blacklist module.

Require IP Address and User Agent for Login is also set to no, I am not using secure forms, and my sessions are using cookies only.
