Why has warned anyone anything?
Have they gone non-profit licenses and freelancer for version 2.5.3?
When can I update my non-profit versions 2.5.2 and 2.5.2 frelancer?
Will there be any cost?

And how many site licenses does the MSM include before we have to buy additional licenses?
So much of the old EE website has now gone.

Must admit, I am massively concerned too!
My site is close to launching and now I feel that time might have been wasted :(

Hmmm. Seems this information ought to be right there, but if I remember correctly, it’s up to 3 sites before additional licenses are required.
EDIT: The number of sites available is displayed in the Manage Purchases page under your account, but as that requires a purchase, it seems odd that it’s not in the information page for the MSM. Anyway ... it’s 3.

That is interesting. I hadn’t paid any attention to the new pricing model, but it does appear that freelancer and non-commercial are no longer an option.
However, checking my downloads, I am able to download the latest version of both at no extra cost.
I believe the original plan with EE 2 was that incremental updates would be free and large updates/upgrades would be fee-based. I had always assumed that non-commercial and freelancer upgrades would be slightly cheaper than the commercial version, but if those licenses are no longer available ...
Which also leads to some confusion about what will happen to our non-commercial and freelancer licenses should there be a paid upgrade available only under the one commercial license. Are they moved to commercial, or are we out of luck?

Thanks GnomeGrrl.
I thought that might be the case… just needed to double check.
I hope the EE website gets back it’s missing info.
There seems to be a huge number of dead links on there now too.

Looks like there’s an explanation on the blog now:

Good spotting, Lisa! With the changes and all the dead links around here, not everything is immediately clear (which isn’t exactly a good thing).
Answers my big question. My freelancer & personal licenses are now commercial. Guess that means my freelancer also has the things we weren’t allowed before 😊

I just noticed it this am GnomeGrrl. It makes sense to me to release one product—although I have to say, I’m happy I was grandfathered in on a few sites 😊

Thanks everyone, sorry it did not say anything, is that I have not received any message that ye have, maybe it’s a bug, would be taken into account to report it, I have a reply of sales @ and I have installed the new update on the two licenses minors from here thank you very much to Expression Engine team that saves for me because those two licenses were cheaper than the commercial, also thanks to all of you, I have not gotten to read all messages, what I said.
ie I have solved before coming to read any message, sorry.
As for the problem was that there appeared the two purchases he had made in its right place and therefore no updates to the new version.

I have been using EE 1 for over four years for a blog, and I am thinking of finally upgrading to take advantage of some anti-spam add-ons. Is the cost $50 + $299 (=$349) or simply $50? I now have 1.6.9 (free core). I don’t see an option for upgrades in the EllisLab store.

hello JosephA. The first thing to check is that your past purchases appear in section purpose. time to upgrade from version 1.6 to 2.5.3 would not know if you have to pay out a part of me un updating 2.5.2 to 2.5.3 and had no cost to me.
and Download the new version from that section
if he does not appear in that section talk to sales @ ....
a greeting
