Hello everyone,
I have this form on my site which will take input submitted by a user and post it into a custom channel. I am unsure of how to validate each field to make sure no HTML or any other code is added to the fields to try to deface the page.

Thank you for your question.
Have a look here and read about using inline errors. That is the first thing that comes to mind. Make sure the data you want is being submitted.
Anything beyond this, you may want to look into some PHP or other scripting to check.
