Really thinking out loud here in the hope I clarify what I’m trying to do and approaches that might work.
Got a real early EE2 site (they’re running beta - yeah I know!)
I have a channel of companies, I also have channels of people, assets + more that is related back to the company on the basis of who the original author was (the companies are added by website visitors on the front-end).
One of the key aspects to the work was grouping all information related to the company into the companies channel. So for people we now have a Matrix field, assets we now have as Channel Files but I need some way to be able to pull the content from old channels into the new fields.
Thoughts?
