Hi I have a client who wants to upgrade from 1.67 to the most current version of EE.
What the best procedure, should I have the developers do a straight upgrade from 1.67 to 2x or should I have the developers install 2x then rebuild the system’s structure from scratch?
Which approach is less stressful?

Hi Nicole,
Well, that all depends on how complex the site is. If you can create a local copy of your site (with distinct files and database), I would give that local version of the site a test upgrade to see how it goes. That would be a good first step to see how potentially frustrating this upgrade could be.
