I’m updating my site again and it’s been a couple years since I’ve worked with Expression Engine. And I’m afraid I’ve forgotten how to add dynamic content in post content fields.

For example, I want to display today’s date and the date three days from now in one specific blog post.

When I add {current_time} to the blog content, the blog post just displays that exact text instead of the date.

I’m not working with a Template here - just making a blog post.

How do I add dynamic content to blog posts within blog content fields?

Welcome back to ExpressionEngine!

What you want isn’t available by default, but you can enable it with an add-on. This list has several that will allow EE tags to be used in weblog entries.
