Does anyone have any experience with large number of Page URI’s in the database and it’s performance?

Why I’m asking is that I would like to know if EE experiences any performance issues if you have, let us say, 100,000 page URI’s stored.

Any comments welcome. Thanks.

No one uses the pages module on large sites?

I guess I could just fake enter 100,000 page URI’s and see myself - just wanted to hear if someone else had any experience first 😊

Pages are stored in a serialized array in the exp_sites table, so there are definitely limits. It’s really not intended for a very large number of Pages, but more for one-off pages. When you get into a very large number of entries, using channel module and letting it auto-increment is really your best option.
