    Hi.

If you go to http://brileyco.com/ and do a search, you’ll see it returns results as it should. However, if you search for “wet seal”, you’ll get a no data received message. In some cases, I cant even get back to the homepage afterwards.

    What’s going on here?

    Thanks!

    I’m using EE v2.2.2 - Build: date 20110801

Same happens if you search for just “wet”.

    Hey jonnyquist,

That is the oddest thing. I am not sure what is going on.

Let’s try and figure this out.

Can you have those keywords as titles of channel entries? Are there any issues there?

Would you be able to check the server logs, Apache access and error would be great. Something really strange is going on that a keyword would tank the browser like that.

Please let me know what you find.

    Cheers,

So, this ended up being an issue with the server. I put the site on my Linode and everything works fine.

    Hey jonnyquist,

That is really odd man. Did you find the root cause of the error or did moving solve it and that is good enough?

    Thanks,

We’re in the process of moving them to a new server, which will fix the issue. Their current server is horrible.

We think it was just crashing on certain searches.

    Hey jonnyquist,

    Gotcha.

Well glad that moving is fixing things.

If you need anything else, please just let us know by opening a new thread.
