This is with a fresh installation of 2.2.2. (was not an upgrade), and I’m logged in as a SuperAdmin

When I click on the “Upload File” button in File Manager (by going to Content>Files>File Manager), nothing happens… the page just reloads.  I expected a dropdown menu to allow me to browse for a file to upload.  I am, however, able to see in the File Manager dashboard the list of files I’ve uploaded through ftp (after syncing).

Also, when I edit an Entry, and I click on “add file”, the lightbox version of File Manager does allow me to upload a file.  It’s just the full page for File Manager that doesn’t seem to work. Odd.

Tell me…. When you upload a file via the channel entry do your editing options include crop or are they only resize and rotate?.

Interesting you should bring that up!  Crop is definitely not an editing option when uploading a file via the channel entry.

You may want to comment on the bug to be notified when it’s fixed.

As far as crop being available when uploading via the channel entry, that might need to be a feature request.

No worries about the cropping feature.  I was just thinking that it was a bug as well (perhaps even associated with the inability to upload via file manager).  Not a biggie in terms of a feature request.

Sounds good. The bit about not being able to crop is a feature request, I double checked with EE2.2.1. Closing thread since there is a bug report.
