    i just moved a site from one directory to another (root) and am experiencing css path issues regarding the drop down tabs in the cp navigation. in inspecting the css, it seems the path for these images in css is referencing the old location. aside from the admin/general configuration settings, is there any place else this needs to be changed that i might have missed?

    Did you check the config.php file?

  • #3 / Feb 17, 2011 5:56pm

    yes, i even added the following to the config file to try to hopefully override any wayward setting:

    $config['configtheme_folder_path'] = "/themes/";

    running with scissors,

    Your config variable is incorret. Use these two and update the path to reflect your own full server path

    $config['theme_folder_path'] = "/home/mysite/public_html/themes/";
    $config['theme_folder_url'] = "/themes/";

    yeah, that’s not working. it’s still pointing to the old path.

    Hi running with scissors,

    Have you tried clearing all caches at CP Home > Tools > Data > Clear Cached Data?

    Cheers

    yeah, i had done that a couple times already and it seemed to have no effect, however after not touching this site since yesterday, and not doing anything mind you to address the situation, the damn thing now works. go figure. consider this issue resolved. thanks.

    Sound like a lingering cache issue. Glad it’s working now. Please don’t hesitate to post again as needed.
