i’ve got a client that is claiming that when logging in to the cp, his password is visible as he types. it’s not being obscured by “•”. with that said, i haven’t been able to replicate this behavior on any pc or mac that i’ve tried regardless of browser. i was going to chalk this up to a localized issue beyond our control, but he’s also claiming that he’s asked others outside of his network and they are seeing the same behavior. any thoughts on this?

Sounds like a user agent issue. What browser is he using? Which form is he using, where, at what URL?

they supposedly tested on several browsers. I’m assuming ie 8 and some flavor of mozilla. the form in questions is the standard cp login for ee2. did you want me to pm you the url?

RWS - we work in shifts, John was on earlier, and is passing along your site login details. I also can’t replicate the problem.
Have your client send you a screen shot, and find out which browser/operating system he’s using.
